Lower Dauphin Football Program Cover aZakelj PPP
One hot program's program: I believe it's been mentioned before, that I'm a closet fan of high school football programs. I'm talking the actual print edition, that glossy celebration to each team complete with player bios, local advertising and a few pages devoted to outgoing seniors. Some programs are better than others, mainly because only a few schools seem to avoid what I call the “cheese” factor each season. Some examples of “cheese” might be using a tank or fighter jet or even a mountain

as the backdrop in the cover shot. It's also important not to oversimplify the cover shot, like slapping the animated version of your team's mascot on the cover. If it's a live mascot then a different set of rules apply. We'll have more on the unofficial rules of football programs later on, but I wanted to congratulate the folks at Lower Dauphin (3-0) for avoiding the cheese. The Falcons week 3 cover was perfect. It hit the mark, wasn't too busy, and it honored our men and women on Military Appreciation Night.

To better explain, aZakelj Consulting and Design works in cooperation with Picture Perfect Productions to provide the Lower Dauphin High School football team with a rockin' program. This program features the team, cheerleaders, seniors, coaches, band, sponsors, etc. AND, for each home game there is a different theme, with a different cover design to match.
